Tomlinson Continues to Contribute to Ottawa and the Community
As 2014 comes to an end, Tomlinson has added to its long list of contributions, in both construction and support of local charities, to Ottawa and the community. There were many construction projects that have been completed across the City, from local sporting facilities like the SensPlex East and Barrhaven Rec Complex, to commuter roadwork on the Sussex and Hunt Club. In addition, high profile and visible projects include; Landsdowne Park (now TD Place), the China Town Arch and Ottawa’s Light Rail Transit project. Other projects of note are the romantic Corkstown (Love Lock) and Hurdman Bridges. Tomlinson continues to demonstrate its leadership and contributions to shape a strong infrastructure for Ottawa.
Every year Tomlinson supports many community projects, organization and charities. This year’s major contributions include: Royal Ottawa Hospital, Ottawa’s Lunchbox Program, YMCA and Ride the Rideau. In just 2 years of participating in Ride the Rideau, Tomlinson’s Red Army has raised over $500,000.
