Tomlinson Group Acquires Colautti Construction Ltd.
We are proud to announce that Ottawa Greenbelt Construction Company Limited, a division of the Tomlinson Group, has acquired Colautti Construction Ltd.
Founded in 1973, Colautti Construction is one of the leading underground, site development, and concrete repair and rehabilitation contractors in the National Capital Region. Colautti’s proven track record, operational expertise, talented employees and excellent customer relationships are a great addition to the Tomlinson Group. We share many of the same Core Values. This acquisition also fits with our strategic plan to maintain and strengthen our core construction business in the Eastern Ontario region.
As the markets that we compete in continue to become even more competitive, we are always looking at ways to improve our business and there are many things to be learned from Colautti and their operating practices. Colautti will also benefit from now being integrated with a full service material supplier, and road and civil contractor.
Dennis Colautti, Vice President of the Colautti Group, will continue on with the company as Operations Manager for Greenbelt Construction.
On Wednesday February 1, members of the Tomlinson family, along with executives from Greenbelt and Tomlinson met with the employees of Colautti to welcome them to the Tomlinson Group. We look forward to building upon the best practices of both companies to the benefit of our customers and employees.
In time, Colautti and Greenbelt will be rebranded under the Tomlinson brand.
