Supporting Skills Development Through the OCH Foundation’s Build Your Path Program

We’re proud to support the Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) Foundation’s Build Your Path program – an initiative helping local residents explore careers in construction.

As part of this support, we provided personal protective equipment (PPE) to program participants, including:

  • Hard hats
  • Safety glasses
  • Cut-resistant gloves
  • Ear plugs
  • Vapour and particulate protection masks

These are essential tools that help ensure participants safely take part in hands-on training as they build new skills.

Build Your Path is an 8-week program that gives Ottawa Community Housing tenants the opportunity to gain practical experience, industry certifications, and the confidence to pursue careers in the trades.

Programs like this play an important role in creating meaningful opportunities and opening doors to long-term careers.

We’re grateful for the work the OCH Foundation does in our communities and proud to play a small part in supporting the next generation of skilled workers.
