Shane Rodney Takes Home FSC Driver of the Month

Last week, we had the privilege of announcing and awarding the June Fleet Safety Council Driver of the Month to Shane Rodney! This award was given during our driver safety meeting where he had the chance to celebrate this achievement among his fellow family members, friends, and colleagues who all work alongside him. Shane is an equipment float driver on our team and is a passionate and dedicated driver with a true love for what he does. With 9 years of tenure on the Tomlinson team, his experience, precision, and overall emphasis on safety not only makes him a strong asset on our team, but an even stronger candidate for this award.

Safety is a cornerstone of our operations, and Shane exemplifies this through his meticulous approach to every task. His commitment to safety is reflected in his daily practices and the mentorship he provides to other drivers and team members. Shane’s dedication to fostering a safe work environment is invaluable and is just one of the key factors that make him a pivotal member of our organization.

From riding along with his father as a kid, to becoming a float driver himself, Shane’s journey is a true testament to his commitment within the industry and to his goals. Shane continues to bring positivity, knowledge, and a sense of dedication to our team that motivates himself and others. His passion for professional growth, drive to be the best he can be, and commitment to his team does not go unnoticed. Because of this, he will now be considered for Driver of the Year in the Fleet Safety Council’s Eastern Chapter.
