Our annual Rock the Red is back – bigger and better than ever. Get your employee teams together and prepare for a day full of exciting challenges, great music, mouth watering food, and a bonfire to end the night. Work with your team to collect points by competing in our Red Army Relay events – karting rally, tow-a-truck, pit stop challenge, and equipment rodeo. The winners will walk away with the Rock the Red trophy and a team prize.
The thrills don’t stop there. Bring your immediate family to join in on the fun with free lap go-karting, inflatable games, laser tag, face painting, and more!
Date & Time: Saturday June 1st, starting at 12pm.
Location: Lombardy Raceway – 6 Kellys Rd, Lombardy, ON K0G 1L0
Accommodations: On-site camping at unserviced sites is available Saturday night.
Food: Food trucks are available for purchase until 8pm. Complimentary Tomlinson BBQ will be available throughout the afternoon.
Drinks: Beer and coolers are available for purchase on-site with a valid ID. Water bottles are provided. Outside non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Entertainment: Live music, kids games, face painting, free lap go-karting, yard games, Tomlinson challenges, and more!
Parking: Free parking available at event grounds.
Event Rules
- Employees and their immediate family.
- No outside alcoholic drinks permitted.
- Only guests 19+ with valid ID can consume alcohol.
- No pets allowed, with the exception of service animals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to drive the karts.
- Rally races are for employees only. Family and guests can participate in free laps.
- No individual campfires.
- No dumping of any waste water on site.

Registration is required to participate in the karting rally sessions due to limited space. Only employees are able to register for karting rally sessions, free laps will be available throughout the day for non-employees. Only the karting team leader needs to sign up for karting.

Event gates open at 12pm on June 1. Camping entry opens at 11am on June 1, no Friday entry available.
The event ends at 9pm on June 1, with overnight camping available on-site*.
*Trailers, tents, and service hooks ups are not provided.
On-site overnight camping is available at the event grounds. There are also several camping grounds and hotels nearby available for reservation.
Yes. Indulge in any of our on-site food trucks offering a variety of food and snack options for purchase until 8pm. You are allowed to bring in coolers with your own food, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.
Non-alcoholic beverages are permitted on the event ground, but alcohol must be purchased from a licensed vendor on-site.
The Red Army Relay is an employee challenge where teams of up to 10 participants will compete in four different events throughout the day to collect points. The better your team does, the more points you collect. Complete all four activities to get the best chance of finishing on top of the leaderboard! The winners will be announced on stage near the end of the event.
Teams can be up to 10 employees, however some challenges only allow part of your team to participate at a time. Be strategic, and stack your team with different strengths!
To participate, have your team leader sign your team up while RSVPing for the event in the above form. There is no time slot reservations needed for your team to participate in the tow-a-truck, equipment rodeo, or pit stop challenge. However, due to limited capacity, you MUST reserve a time slot for your team to enter into a Karting Rally.
Work with your team to complete the circuit of four challenges to collect points towards your final score. Each station will have a board to record your team name, score, and be verified by the station leader. All boards will be collected at the end of the event and tallied to crown the winner.
The Karting Rally is a single event within the whole Red Army Relay. Completing the Karting Rally with your team will get you valuable points towards winning the Red Army Relay.
The employee rally races are one and a half hours each. The free lap sessions available to employees and family are 20 minutes each with multiple sessions throughout the day and available until 9pm.
Only Tomlinson employees are allowed to participate in the rally races. However anyone who has signed a waiver and has a valid driver’s license can participate in our free laps taking place throughout the day.
All safety gear will be provided to racers at the track. However each racer is responsible for having closed toed shoes, long sleeves, full length pants, and hair ties to pull hair back.
