Roll Off

Safely operate a heavy-duty truck and is responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities and customer locations. Roll-Off Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job.

  • Must have a valid Ontario DZ Drivers Licence.
  • 1-2 years’ experience, ideally in Waste Collection or similar industry

Dump Truck

Operate and drive primarily straight trucks to transport goods and materials mainly on local routes and short inter-urban routes.

  • Valid class AZ drivers licence
  • 3 years of dump trailer experience
  • 3 years of construction driving experience
  • 2 years of float truck driving experience

Residential/Commercial Collection

Responsible for collection of waste and recycling.

  • Must have a valid Ontario DZ drivers’ License
  • 1-2 years’ experience, ideally in waste collection or similar industry

Ready Mix

Deliver concrete according to schedule and communicate with dispatch.

  • Valid DZ Driver’s License with minimum 3 years of experience

The Foreman is responsible for driver daily operational activities.

  • Must have a DZ licence
  • Good Communication Skills

The Dispatcher is involved in hiring trucks and placing trucks. The incumbent assists accounting with daily billing, giving haul rates when needed and pricing.

  • Knowledge ticketing software
  • Limited Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Geographical knowledge of the City of work

To ensure Drivers perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner to satisfy the expectations of customers.

  • Hold at minimum a valid DZ license
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Good Communication Skills

Looking after the garage, equipment rentals; utilization and purchases; demolition estimation and project management; assisting dispatch; assisting estimation; sales.

  • 15 plus years’ experience in the industry
  • Exceptional people management, including large teams
  • Ability to resolve issues as they arise
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
