Tomlinson wins Ontario Steel Design Award of Excellence for Lees Avenue Bridge

Tomlinson received one of the most significant accolades in the Ontario steel industry on April 26 2015 when it was given the Awards of Excellence in Engineering, Bridge Category at the annual Ontario Steel Design Awards Gala. The company was recognised for its pivotal role in the construction of the new Lees Avenue Bridge in Ottawa. “This is the biggest honour in the Ontario steel industry and the receipt of the award for this project was due to the project management, engineering and execution which Tomlinson had a large role in,” said Stefanie Bailey, EIT, Vice President Finance, of Central Welding & Iron Works, one of the partners in the construction of the new bridge for the OLRT project.
