With more than 35 CNG-powered trucks, collection emissions are reduced across our waste and recycling operations. From pickup through processing, materials remain under our oversight, ensuring accountability at every stage of the waste stream.
Organics & Compost
Tomlinson Organics provides commercial organics collection services that help businesses divert food and green waste from landfill while supporting sustainability and environmental reporting goals. Collected materials are transported to Tomlinson’s organics processing facility in Kingston where they are transformed into high-grade A and AA compost.
The resulting materials are used for soil improvement, erosion control, and landscaping applications, returning organic waste to productive use. Through responsible processing, Tomlinson helps businesses manage organic waste effectively, while supporting long-term sustainability.
Waste Audits & Diversion Reporting
Tomlinson supports sustainability performance through detailed waste audits and transparent diversion reporting. At our Waste Recovery Centre in Carp, Ontario, every load is sorted and weighed to provide accurate, audit-ready data.
Our facility diverts as much as 80% of incoming material from landfill. This verified diversion performance provides organizations with clear data to support sustainability reporting, regulatory requirements and certifications such as LEED and BOMA BEST.
