Tomlinson supplies natural, manufactured, and recycled construction aggregates across a wide range of gradations and specifications. Tomlinson diverts approximately 100,000 tonnes of concrete, 40,000 tonnes of asphalt, and 3,000 tonnes of glass from local landfills annually through responsible reuse and recycling initiatives, supporting sustainable construction practices across the region.

Integrated Load & Dispatch Systems

Automated scale systems and integrated dispatch technology streamline load-in, weighing, and load-out operations. Truck and order data are transmitted directly to loader operators, improving load accuracy and reducing cycle times.

CCIL-Certified Quality Control

Tomlinson maintains full in-house quality control across every stage of aggregate production. We operate three in-house materials testing laboratories, along with a dedicated mobile laboratory to support remote project sites.

Our primary laboratory is CCIL-certified for Types A, B, C, and D testing, ensuring compliance for industry and project specifications. Materials are tested daily to meet strict performance and gradation standards required for infrastructure, commercial, industrial and municipal construction projects.

Long-Term Resource Security

In addition to active production, Tomlinson maintains a portfolio of licensed reserve sites that secure long-term material availability and supply continuity for future generations of infrastructure and development needs.

Owning our quarries and pits allows us full quality control over all aspects of our minerals. Materials sourced from our sites are tested daily at our laboratories and held to the highest quality standards. Our central facility is CCIL Certified for Types A, B, C, and D testing, ensuring rigorous quality control across every phase of production.

In addition to our flagship facility, Tomlinson operates a mobile lab and dedicated testing facilities in Brechin and the Ontario Trap Rock quarry. Results are immediately reviewed, evaluated, and reported by our technicians and engineers.

Tomlinson’s laboratories are equipped with gyratory compactors and ignition ovens. All equipment is continuously calibrated and maintained to meet the stringent standards of today’s working environment.
