Project Description

• Rehabilitate 8th line Overpass – Piperville (175 m) and 7th Line Overpass- Leitrim (235 m)
  • Protection System
  • Jacking of superstructure
  • Concrete overlay
• Remove existing culvert at Shaw’s Creek and install twin box culvert 3000mm x 2400mm Precast Concrete box culvert  (208m)
• Construction of two new Bridges (120 m & 160 m) at Bear Brook and highway realignment:
  • Cofferdams
  • H-Piles
  • Rock Points
  • Structural Steel Girders
• Demolition of two existing bridges at Bear Brook
• 50km Pavement rehabilitation: 330,000 m2 of cold in-place (CIREAM) and 170,000 tonnes of asphalt
• Rigid Expanded Polystyrene Embankment fill
