With asphalt manufacturing plants located at our Rideau Rd and Moodie Dr facilities, and the more recently acquired Gencor asphalt plant at the Stittsville Quarry, we are equipped to provide a wide variety of quality regular and performance grade asphalt mixes. In addition, our state-of-the-art Gencor portable plant services our Highway Division, producing 400 tonnes per hour.
The size and diversity of our asphalt manufacturing plants and certified material testing laboratories, gives us the competitive edge to serve both the private and public sectors, efficiently and effectively. Manufacturing asphalt mixes for projects at the municipal, provincial and federal levels as well as airport authorities and local paving contractors, illustrates our scale and ability to mange projects ranging from small commercial work to complex construction projects, from driveways to interstate highways.
Our services include:
- Designing, manufacturing and placing asphalt from our own aggregate sources, including a premium dolomitic sandstone aggregate.
- Producing in excess of 50 different asphalt mixes, ranging from basic parking lot (HL3 fine) to high volume expressways (Superpave FC-2 and Stone Matrix Asphalt).
- The ability to utilize up to five skilled paving crews on a single project, working 24 hours a day.
